Initial CCW 16-Hour Training Course

We’ll cover everything California requires for your CCW permit: firearms safety fundamentals, state and federal gun laws, use of force principles, conflict avoidance, and when you can—and can't—legally use your firearm in self-defense. We'll discuss the legal aftermath of defensive encounters, de-escalation strategies, and the enormous responsibility that comes with carrying concealed. You'll also learn practical skills including drawing from concealment, accurate shooting under pressure, stoppages, reloads, and making quick decisions in dynamic situations.

This course combines classroom instruction with live fire training. You'll spend quality time on the range evaluating your skills, practicing from various positions and distances, and shooting the qualification course required by Riverside County. We’ll work with you individually to ensure you're confident and competent before you leave.
